Neurogender was coined by Tumblr user aflutteringlaney[1] via MOGAI-archive[2] on or before July 30, 2014 and was originally described as "A gender feeling that is strongly linked to one’s status as neurodivergent note: obviously, only for use by neurodivergent people; can be used as an umbrella term for other neurodivergent-related genders"[3] Since then the term the term has also grown from just a standalone gender to being an entire subcategory of MOGAI genders and is one of the most well known.

What Makes a Neurogender?

The meaning of neurogender as a subcategory is a gender that relates to one's neurodivergence or mental illness in any way.

The Terms

  1. 404gender: gender can’t be described or located due to neurodivergence. (all neurodivergent people)
  2. Aclarus: the inability to distinguish ones gender due to trauma (any type: emotional, sexual, mental, physical etc) and can only be used by trauma survivors. this is not a gender, only a way to describe the inability to directly pin down what your true gender is. from the Latin word Clarus which means clear and the prefix A- to imply absence
  3. ADHDnurix: a gender caused by both the Attention Deficit and the Hyperactivity of ADHD. It has the same effect on gender as executive dysfunction has on life. It’s like the gender is hidden behind your brain fog. You can see it, you know it’s there, but you can’t get to it no matter what you do. This gender is the same feeling as the Leg Bounce. It’s part of the subconscious. Can only be used by people with ADHD.
  4. ADnurix: a gender that is caused by the Attention Deficit in ADHD. This gender is basically “Executive Dysfunction: Gender Edition”. It’s somewhere in the brain fog. You just don’t know where it is just yet. The gender was just here a second ago, I’ll find it, I swear. This term can only be used by people with ADHD
  5. Aerosolgender: a gender related to mist/particles, specifically related to nonhumanity and dissociation, to feeling like a collection of floating particles rather than a whole. Can also be a gender management related to gender hoarding, where each gender acts as a particle in a whole.
  6. Affectugender: from the latin affectus (to feel). a gender that is affected by one’s neurodivergency especially fluctuating moods, e.g. feeling like a boy during depressive episodes and feeling more like a demigirl during happy episodes note:for people with mood disorders and personality disorders only.
  7. Afisgender: A gender that feels hazy, dreamlike, or is hard to conceptualize, due to neurodivergence. From Greek “ασαφής”/“asafís”, meaning hazy.
  8. Ageregender: an umbrella gender term exclusively for age regressors whose gender either entirely, partially or temporarily changes when they regress. ( can be used by both cis and trans ageres) ( not for pet regressors( I make make a term similar under Petregender), kink, ddlg, cgl, non-age regressors or any people who sexualize or appropriate our trauma and stress reactions)
  9. Aggelos: literally meaning “messenger” but in a gender context, it means it’s an angelic gender that presents masculine, feminine, in a softly binary way; but that’s only part of the gender’s presentation. their true gender of the aggelos is that they’re “other” gendered, not male, female, agender, or even neutral, but some other heavenly gender that cannot be described with words. can be used by anyone, but preferably used by those who are neurodivergent who believe that their delusions of divinity or angelicism come into play with their conception gender
  10. Aisthesisgender: a gender that is made of sensation or sensations, or is a sensation or sensations. Hence aisthesis being the greek word for 'sensation'. A gender that can be colors, feelings, sounds, or shapes. But, can also be a gender associated with such. Can be a stand alone term, and one that describes another gender. Can be used by both synesthetes and non-synesthetes.
  11. Alcoholicgender: a gender that is influenced by one's alcoholism. A person may identify with one gender when they are under the influence of alcohol, and another gender when they are sober. Should only be used by people with alcoholism.
  12. Alexigender: a term for when you are unable to describe your gender/orientation due to neurodivergency - you cannot put it into words. You may have a vague idea of what your gender/orientation is or could be; if so it can be used as alexigenderqueer or alexipan, for example. Alexigender/alexi- can be used in combination with another identity, or it can be a stand-alone. Based off alexithymia, a condition/symptom where a person has difficulty describing their emotions. For use by people who have alexithymia, which may be part of another disorder such as autism, schizo-spectrum disorders, or borderline personality disorder.   13. Algaeix: A label for those whose identity effects many aspects of their life. It consumes their thoughts, typically due to obsessive tendencies, and forms around their seperate identities to bind them together. It can be a drain on your mental health due to the time spent focusing on it.
  14. Aliqudcaer: a gender only described as opposites to the point of confusion, or stress. Its hard to describe with any other words, and can be related to colors also.
  15. Alzgender: a gender that is influenced by being of the Alzheimer's neurotype, or where the person can't remember their gender due to Alzheimer's.
  16. Amissofluid: a fluid gender that is lost, unknown, fluid between ineffable, neuro, and confusing genders exclusively, and can be connected to gloominess, darkness, and winter.
  17. Amongusgender: a subset of passiogender related specifically to having a hyperfixation or special interest for among us.
  18. Androidic: a term [used by people who are androids] and for whom that affects [their] gender!…androidic can encompass any binary or nb gender. This term is mostly made for Androidkin, DBH[Detroit: Become Human]kin, and non-human system members, but it can be used by any alterhuman!
  19. Angegender: a gender where you can’t describe it with any word but hatred or anger. Usable only by neurodivergent people with mental illnesses that cause anger or hate.
  20. Angreprobic: a gender that feels like it was once something holy, strong, and powerful, but collapsed and fell into darkness due to trauma or stress. May or may not hold religious tones! It can never grow back to its former glory, but it can return to some minor strength. Exclusive to people with PTSD/anxiety/similar, but also moreso centered towards people with such that use religion as a coping mechanism (NOT as a reason to attack/hurt/hate other people)! The word comes from the Latin words “angelus” (angel) and “reprobi” (fallen).
  21. Anief: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is female.
  22. Aniem: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is male.
  23. Anieu: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is nonbinary / androgyne / genderqueer.
  24. Aniexe: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is agender / gendernull.
  25. Animigender: This gender is supposed to be for people with mental disorders that make it so there is different people conscious in the headspace. Where each person experiences different genders. I have psychotic disorder, and I’ve been searching for a gender that fits my needs. But, it never came so I decided to make my own.
  26. Anorexgender: when one's gender is affected by anorexia, e.g. the disorder has changed how they view their gender and sex/body image dysphoria.
  27. Antimony: someone whose gender is ‘ani’ or ‘mona’ (same thing) means their neurodivergency affects their perception of their own gender, or gender in general
  28. Anvasi: an angelic gender for the angel choir Angel…Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems…this identity goes along with Seravasi and is apart of the “Angel Choir System” an identity group.
  29. Anxieflux: when your anxiegender fluctuates on how much anxiety you are having at the moment.
  30. Anxiegender: a gender that is strongly connected to anxiety, or when the more anxious you are, the more likely your gender will change/fluctuate note: for the use of individuals with anxiety disorders only
  31. Aphantasgender: a gender affected by ones inability to visualize, or aphantasia. when you think of your gender, nothing comes to mind, but you recognize something being there. the recognition of a gender without being able to visualize or describe it. please do not use if you do not have aphantasia
  32. Arcvasi: an angelic gender for the angel choir Archangel…this identity goes along with Seravasi and is apart of the “Angel Choir System” an identity group. Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems
  33. Autigender: Autism as part or whole of gender identity; a gender that can only be understood in context of being autistic. note: only to be used by Autistic people.
  34. Avarumgender: A gender for a person who feels that, while many terms may be used to describe their gender, they don’t feel like identifying with them may be right for them–due to uncertainty, anxiety, or just neurodivergency in general. Alternatively, a term for use where many labels may fit, and one’s gender may fit all the criteria for these labels, but the traits are all static and never seem to overwhelm each other. “Varum” is the nominative, accusative, and vocative neuter case for the word that means “real” or “true.” One can add “a-” at the beginning (possibly) to mean “unreal” or “untrue” if they so wish, because varumgender/avurmgender can sometimes feel “fake” due to technically fitting so many labels. One can do with that as they wish.
  35. Bigorexgender: bigorexia.
  36. Binarneuro: When one’s perception of the gender binary and thus their gender is affected by neurodivergence(s); An abinary/exterbinary/offbinary gender that is that way because of neurodivergence(s); A nonbinary/non-exobinary/non-midbinary gender that is that way because of neurodivergence(s); A nonbinary/non-exobinary/non-midbinary gender that is abinary/exterbinary/offbinary because of neurodivergence(s)
  37. Bipolargender: my gender is super heavily linked and attached to my disorder
  38. Blurisysgender: a gender defined by being blurred, hard to recognize, etc. due to blurring of alters in a system…. These identities are absolutely for traumagenic systems only. Do not under any circumstance use if you are anything but completely traumagenic.
  39. Boogender: neurodivergent homies who are literally just walking boos aka me
  40. Bordergender: a fluctuating gender experienced exclusively by people with BPD. A gender identity lacking a firm grasp on ones identity, while still experiencing gender, to varying degrees, but having trouble pinning it down to just one label or identity. Having the sense of grasping at labels as much as possible to describe a gender we keep questioning because we keep second guessing our sense of selves and, consequentially, our sense of gender. Can be combined with relevant genders
  41. Borderix: a gender relating to borderline personality disorder [ bpd ] in some way - this is a gender that feels stronger when the individual has an fp and feels almost nonexistent when without one. this is, obviously, a gender that can only be reclaimed by people with bpd. the coiner of this term has bpd.
  42. Bosgender: gender that has affinity with cattle, specifically the Texas Longhorn. It is a masculine aligned gender identity, and the flag conveys that with the horns and nostril ring. This is a flag for a gender that an alter in the system experiences, who identifies with the stoic, solitary, dry, harsh lifestyle these beautiful cattle endure. This flag is specifically for neurodivergent people, designed for someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
  43. Caedgender: A gender which has been “cut away” by a traumatic event. A gender that was once felt but has been damaged or lost due to trauma.
  44. Calidumgender: a gender that is either out or in the binary and can be described as warm, liquidy, thick, and heavy. a gender that feels like a warm pool of liquid/liquidy and warm. name deriving from the latin term “calidum liquido”, which means warm liquid. I ask this gender only be used by neurodivergent folk
  45. Calisgender: a gender/add on that’s caused by the blurring of Systemhood. Its blurry.. fuzzy and hard to define. Sometimes you can Pin point it up, but its usually just blurry. Can become unpleasant and even frustrating at times…Do NOT use if anti endogenic, anti plural, or anti non traumagenic systems
  46. Catgender: Catgender is a xenogender that is an umbrella term. Genders that fall under Catgender are Meowgender, Nyagender, Kitten/kittygender. As a xenogender, Catgender is an identity that is used for autistic individuals, as well as people who may experience delusions relating to being a cat/feline and/or experience species regression. while Catgender will be open for anyone to use, it is STRONGLY preferred that neurodivergent individuals identify with it, as xenogenders and autigenderism are genders made by neurodivergent folk, for neurodivergent folk!
  47. Cavusgender: For people with depression. You feel one gender when not depressed and another when depressed.
  48. Ceciusgenus: a nonhuman gender defined by being a fallen angel…This term isn't for anti endogenic or anti non traumagenic systems
  49. Changelic: a gender that was stolen and feels replaced, as though the one in the original gender’s place is wearing a glamour to disguise itself. not for use by allistics
  50. Chaotigender: a neurogender exclusively for those with adhd who feel that their adhd directly influences their ability to properly analyze and pinpoint their gender.
  51. Cheerbeargender: a gender only for system children/system littles. it is a nonbinary gender where you are attached to [cheer] bear from care bears and you go back to how happy and carefree, magical and fun their lives were or they want it to be.
  52. Cheruvasi: an angelic gender for the angel choir Cherubim…Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems
  53. Chuunigender: a gender related to (being) chunibyo!
  54. Cloudgender: a gender identity that cannot be fully comprehended or experienced because of depersonalization or derealization.
  55. Cocodilic: a gender that is tied to one’s neurodivergence, especially issues with levels of empathy. A gender that is misunderstood often, but genuinely helpful to you. It is named for crocodiles and chocolate.
  56. Corugender: where your gender changes during (and around) flashbacks. based on the Latin for flash (coruscans) note: only for neurodivergent people.
  57. Curagender: A gender related to or influenced by being a caregiver/carer, specifically to someone who regresses (in age, species, etc). Your gender may change when interacting with your cared one, or your gender may be related to your relationship, for examples. Just like regressigender, please don’t use this for kink purposes. This is for when you’ve dedicated yourself to helping your loved one(s) cope and be their honest selves with someone they can trust.
  58. Curatinem: a gender that was once ripped away due to identity loss from child abuse and/or neglect, and is slowly being pieced back together (along with one’s identity) during the process of healing. Only for Child Abuse and/or Neglect Survivors.
  59. Cyclogender (neurogender): describes a bipolar person whose gender identity is tied to what type of episode (manic, hypomanic, depressive, mixed, etc.) they are experiencing at that moment.
  60. Daeix: a demonic gender for members in a system. Its demonic and hellish but also personal to each Daeix being!…Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems
  61. Deathdeitaeic: A system gender for members of plural systems who ARE death/connected to death. Either a death deity, or the embodiment of death, or an angel of death, etc.
  62. Decredogender: a gender influenced by trauma from gaslighting that makes you constantly question it but it still exists.
  63. Degender: When your gender fluxes based on exhaustion or stress; more exhaustion/stress causes one’s gender to decrease in intensity. Similar to virgender, except fluxing.
  64. Delusofluid: When one's gender is either fluid with Delusogenders or changes when experiencing delusions
  65. Delusogender: a subset of posigender (a gender identity that is influenced by the positive symptoms of a schizophrenic person) in which one’s gender is influenced by one’s delusions. Strictly for schizophrenic/psychotic/delusional people. This can be a multigender identity if your delusogender is made of multiple genders itself.
  66. Deusgenus: a gender for God system members Its above gender and gender norms Above masculine and feminine but doesnt mean you cant be masc/fem and deusgenus. It can be holy and untouched. Divine…do NOT use if anti endogenic, anti spiritual systems or similar!
  67. Discordian: a gender that’s chaotic and hard to comprehend or explain. can contain many genders or no gender, but is marked by a sense of confusion or discomfort.
  68. Dissotine: a DID exclusive identity for alters who ID as something other than the body’s agab. Intended to replace ‘cisgender’ or 'transgender’ because alters technically don’t have agab! Called disso like cis or trans for short. Dont use if you dont want to, and dont use if you’re not traumagenic and/or don’t have DID/osdd
  69. Divigender: A feeling that one’s gender is split or divided due to a dissociative disorder.
  70. Dragumflyic: a gender that is tied to one’s emotions or neurodivergence, and seems to feel positive and flighty during brighter moods, but exceptionally vague and almost unwanted during lower points. It is named for both the dragonfly and gummy confections.
  71. Dominvasi: an angelic gender for the angel choir Dominion/Lordships…this identity goes along with Seravasi and is apart of the “Angel Choir System” an identity group. Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems
  72. Drunkorexgender: affected by drunkorexia.
  73. Dubiucine: someone who is partially, but not entirely, gender apathetic. a gender where your gender apathy is partial or always in flux. may or may not be influenced by one’s neurodivergence/metal illness(es).
  74. Dusentiros: a term for when your (gender/species/body/etc) dysphoria fluctuates based on your level of sensory comfort; e.g. having intense body dysphoria when experiencing sensory overload. not a gender term, but can exist alongside gender. see also: flui. from dusphoros, the origin of dysphoria (meaning ‘hard to bear’) and sentire, the origin of sensory. pronounced do-sen-tir-ros.
  75. Dysphoriagender: when your gender is influenced by your gender dysphoria. This gender can fluctuate or even disappear at times.
  76. Efixgender: a gender that changes based on surroundings, mood, and influenced by ones hyperactivity. this gender is ONLY to be used by ppl w type 2 or type 3 adhd. a person that identifies with this xenogender will often switch between other xenogenders all throughout the day.
  77. Elephanillic: a gender that feels immense, but slow-moving and blocky; a sort of nervous or overwhelming gender, named for the elephant and vanilla. It may be somewhat tied to one’s traumatic experiences and the roads thereafter, if applicable.
  78. Emetogender: [you] feel like [you are] different genders when [you] vomit.
  79. Errofluid: a gender which is fluid or fluxes in relation to psychotic symptoms. Ex: when someone’s psychosis symptoms are strong and having a manic episode I feel genderless, when they’re strong and they’re having a depressive episode they feel more male. However, the term errogender can be used regardless of how your psychosis affects your gender.
  80. Escapigender: 1) a gender that changes when experiencing escapism/maladaptive daydreams, or the lack/gain of a gender during. this term can be used as escapi<gender that you feel when youre "gone"> or as a general "yeah im escapigender" (this definition is for people with maladaptive daydream/dissociative disorder or escapism only!). 2) a gender that constantly escapes you and is incomprehensible.
  81. Etorgender: a gender that is present at all or the majority of the time but becomes much stronger when age regressed. Do not use if k1nk, this gender is for non-k1nk age regressors and system littles only. Name comes from Latin retornare, meaning ‘to turn back’.
  82. Exagender: gender that is defined/influenced by whether they believe people will approve of it or not; usually with splitting and is in contrast with actual experience of gender (borderline only).
  83. Execudysgender: a gender that feels difficult to figure out or is a constant work in progress due to executive dysfunction…less ADHD exclusive [than ADnurix], because many people of many neurotypes can feel the effects of executive dysfunction.
  84. Fasciflux: a gender that fluctuates or is fluid based on an autistic person’s special interest
  85. Fascigender: a gender experience largely related to a special interest; note: only for the use of autistic folk.
  86. Feragender: A gender marking a connection to wild animals + nature, and detachment from societal norms and the gender binary. Largely related to neurodivergents who not only feel disconnected from other humans as a whole, but also struggle to fully understand or label their gender identity.
  87. Ferusgender: Aa feral, rapidly shifting gender that feels more animalistically [sic] dangerous than human-like, and is heavily associated with/influenced by anger and animalistic urges. For use by nonhuman system members/otherkin.
  88. Fictivegender: when you are in a DID or OSDD system, and are a fictive, and that affects your gender. Used similarly to kingender, you could use your fictive name as the beginning, for example [the coiner] would be Fazbeargender. Can be used in addition to other genders.
  89. Fixigender: hyperfixation based genders! you could also prefix it with your hyperfixation, like space-fixigender, or change the "gender" to another identity like fixigirl! or a fluid gender experienced by those with adhd which can fluctuate or intensify with a hyperfixation. can feel like it fades without a hyperfixation & can also depend on what the hyperfixation is!
  90. Fleregenus: Having multiple genders / gender identities, but only because you are part of a system or nonhuman. Having both system-genders/extranth genders, and non-system genders. Ex. A female angel who also has an Angelic gender. A celestial gendered werewolf with a Lycanthropic gender. A male median subsystem who also identifies as Systemgender/Systemfluid. And etc.
  91. Fluxodumgender: a Trauma Based, fluid gender where you don’t/can’t keep the same identity for too long, and you have to change it or else you get uncomfortable/Distressed. The name comes from the latin words Fluxus (“flow / flowing” ) and Incommodum ( “Discomfort” )
  92. Focigender: a gender identity that is influenced by or shifts with your hyperfixations/obsessions…It was primarily made with ADHD and BPD in mind but it’s free to be used by any neurodivergent person (including self-dxed) who experiences a similar strong focus on things. This includes autistic special interests and also multiply-diagnosed, undiagnosed and questioning people!
  93. Foggender: a gender being mostly or around a certain gender (or mostly around a certain gender), but is only approximate on account of difficulty defining it due to one’s neurodivergence (vaguegender) or brain fog (foggender). based off of gendervague and genderfog, with similarities to paragender and magigender.
  94. Fractalgender: a gender where one’s gender consists of many different patterns, components, or other genders; and its inner complexities can only be understood within the context of being neurodivergent. If a neurotypical person tried to understand it, they would think they’re seeing the same patterns at each layer, hence the “fractal”, when in fact each layer means something different to the neurodivergent person. Meant for use only by neurodivergent people.
  95. Galaxiegender: that is vast and mysterious like the galaxy. reserved for people who are both neurodivergent and spacekin/kin with anything related to space You must ask the person who coined the gender, galaxyprincet, to identify as this gender before doing so.
  96. Genderanxious: a gender that is undefined because the act of finding a label, or of having a gender, is a trigger for anxiety. See also: Anxiegender, Imnigender, Kynigender.
  97. Genderbruised: a gender that is sensitive and hurts like a bruise whenever you explore the gender. This can be caused by tramua, anxiety, ptsd, ocd, or other related neurodivergencies. Over time the “ bruise ” feeling can heal but it doesn’t always heal.
  98. Gendercrow: a subset of genderhoarder in which the user hoards genders that feel cold, sharp, dark, protective, and/or dangerous. The user may or may not be fluid between said genders, and the gender(s) may or may not be related to trauma.
  99. Gender Disordered: gender defined/influenced by one’s thought disorders/disorganized thinking, or unable to be defined because of it (people with thought disorder only).
  100. Genderdisturbed: having a gender you don’t define bcause you’re repulsed, frightened, anxious, or disturbed by it.
  101. Genderfake: Feeling that your gender is part of your hallucinations or delusions. For people who experience delusions or hallucinations as part of their mental illness or neurodivergence only.
  102. Genderfalle: Wwhen one is stuck expressing a gender they don’t identify with, forced to be a gender they aren’t, and as a result their connection to their actual gender identity is blurry, hard to find, confusing or is somehow affected. Can also be affected by neurodivergence but the point is that the person can’t express or identify their actual gender because something else (transphobic family, society, negativity, fear, w/e) is forcing them to repress it and be something they aren’t. Pronounced “falle” like “fall” with “eh” at the end.
  103. Genderfog: a gender that is undefinable due to brainfog or exhaustion note: for use by neurodivergent/mentally ill/chronically ill people only please.
  104. Genderfucked: an identity that involves mental dissociation from ones assigned gender at birth and avoidance of societal definitions of gender. It may involve presenting and identifying in completely different ways than others would expect, ”fucking” with gender while rigid expectations about gender “fuck” with the individual. It is a very chaotic identity that is exclusive to neurodivergent folk.
  105. Genderinimicus: A sentiogender which describes a gender experience that cannot be fully felt/comprehended/understood because each time one attempts to mediate on their gender and determine what it does or does not entail/encompass, they feel a great sense of unease or anxiety, they begin to panic, or they become greatly distressed/distraught (including feelings of anger/frustration/despair) over not being able to make the determination. Note that this is not a distress that comes solely from uncertainty, but is a gender experience that necessarily involves an anxious/panicked/distressed sense of one’s own gender. The experiencer is therefore at odds with their gender, and this is the only thing they can know for certain, even if they can approximate what else their gender encompasses. This is dissimilar to questioning or quoigender because it necessarily entails a dissatisfaction with one’s inability to fully grasp their gender. It is NOT just “IDK my gender” or “my gender is IDK”; it’s “I’m disappointed that I don’t know my gender because some emotional barrier is in the way, but I’d still like a term that describes that experience.” The name comes from the Latin for adversary/enemy to illustrate how one always feels at odds with their gender due to it being just beyond reach. This term was made with people with personality and anxiety disorders in mind (of which I am both), but anyone who can’t get a grip on their gender due to panic/distress/anxiety can use it.
  106. Genderjuice: when your experience with genderfluidity is bright and tangy, and when only your neurogenders change.
  107. Genderkrieg: When you have multiple gender identities that harshly contradict one another (only for people with personality disorders). (Like being both stratogender (genders are layered) and gendervoid (having no gender) or antiboy and boy).
  108. Gendermute: gender that only makes itself known in safe environments, the kind that you can speak in. (selectively mute only).
  109. Gendernimius: a gender that’s influenced by ones hyperactivity; a hyperactive, uncontrollable gender. only to be used by folx with adhd.
  110. Gendernoia: a gender affected by paranoia. Can be combined with other genders.
  111. Genderquirked: For bnha kins and fictives, a gender that is tied to your quirk in some way.
  112. Genderrot: a gender that is partially or completely “decomposed” by mental illness such as ptsd or dissociative disorders: not to be used by neurotypicals can be used such as “boyrot” “girlrot” “enbyrot” etc or on its owne
  113. Genderstim: for when your gender is *wiggles and bounces happily*
  114. Gender Vulneratis: latin for "trauma gender". When your gender has been affected and/or partially or wholly molded by abuse-related trauma you've survived/are a victim of. You can claim this gender if you've experienced abuse-related trauma (sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, etc) that you feel has affected your gender in any way! Genus Vulneratis can be used in conjunction with other genders or alignments, or be used as a stand alone gender (almost an alternate to agender, but affected/caused by trauma).

  118. Half-Binary: gender identity is partially binary and partially nonbinary AND/OR Identifying at least partially as one or both binary genders, yet feeling disconnected from them due to self doubt, or due to neurodivergence making ones gender difficult to understand.
  119. Hallucigender: A gender related to or influenced by hallucinations and delusions a mentally ill person may have.
  120. Hategender: a gender that you can't describe with any word but hatred or anger. Usable only by neurodivergent people with mental illnesses that cause anger or hate.
  121. HDnurix: a gender caused by the Hyperactivity aspect of ADHD This gender got yeeted out with the impulse control a long time ago. There is a faint trace of what it was, but it’s long gone. Trying to figure this gender out causes the same feeling as when you are not allowed to move or stim or whatever you do to try to focus. It’s a leggbounce gender, in other terms. This term can only be used by people with ADHD.
  122. Hermithypic: Wa gender based on having Hermitcraft SMP hyperfixation/special interest. Neurodivergent-exclusive.
  123. Histriogender: a gender relating to Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD) in some way. Usually entails a gender that changes in order to please others and/or to become more unique and noticeable. May change very rapidly depending on surroundings and situations. The coiner of this term has HPD. This gender is exclusive to people who have HPD.
  124. Holidelusogender: a subset of delusogender in which one’s gender is affected by delusions of being divine, holy, demonic, angelic, or godly.
  125. Honeygender: a gender that feels warm and soft, like a blanket, your favorite jacket, or your childhood home, and is childlike in nature. This gender feels comfort in the safety of trusting others and having the innocence of a little kid, with vague hints of masculinity/femininity/androgyny. This gender is related to hoodiegender and kidcoric, but combining the terms into one. Made for anyone, but coined with trauma victims and people with low functioning autism in mind. or a gender that feels slow and warm, but steady and sweet at the same time. It is also protective and sheltering.
  126. Hoodiegender: a gender that feels safe, expesially to those with mental illnesses, and comforting. But also can be hiding something “underneath”, or feel mysterious.
  127. Hyperfixgender: When your gender feels like it's affected by your hyperfixation. This flag can also be used as a plain old hyperfixation flag.
  128. Hypernurix: a gender that is related to your current hyperfixation. Only for people with ADHD

Illusogender: you know you are a certain gender, BBUUUUTT there is still that ‘feeling’ of fakeness there - because of neurodivergency and/or outward experience (such as parents constantly telling you ‘you just fakin’)- and it is kind of part of that gender experience. It can be used as a standalone thing like illusogender xy or as a contraction (e.g. illusoboy). or when you know you're a certain gender, but there's still the feeling of 'fakeness' there, either due to neurodivergency and/or due to outside pressure from parents, society, etc. These feelings and/or pressures can be part of the gender experience.
  133. Imnigender: a gender defined by anxiety. Not “your gender makes you anxious” so much as “anxiety is your gender”. note: only to be used by people with anxiety disorders.
  134. Implagender: never being satisfied with your gender due to constant self-doubt, causing one to search and seek out something that fits as perfect as possible. Similar to Xumgender but not exclusive to neurodivergent people.

  138. Insomniagender: a gender affected by how much sleep you have gotten. Based on the word insomnia.

  141. Kynigender: when you feel like you’re figuring out your gender, but then you get confused about it due to the anxiety/stress it causes you and have to start all over again note: this gender is only for people with anxiety disorders.
  142. Lazuligender: a gender that has changed to heal from trauma, especially that which has been repressed. Specific to those who have gone through something traumatic (I made it with abuse survivors such as myself in mind, but it could probably apply to non-abuse survivors who went through something traumatic). Based off the lapis lazuli gemstone, which is associated with healing.
  143. Liminalgender: A warm gender related to liminal spaces. It is detached and void-like due to neurodivergence and/or trauma. It may it times feel like it doesn’t exist or only partially exists. Can be combined with different modifiers in relation to alignment, such as liminalboy, liminalnonbinary, liminalgirl, etc if wanted Please only use if neurodivergent and/or traumatized, (coiner/op is neurodivergent + traumatized)
  144. Lipsigender: a gender which, when thought about, triggers bouts of depression.
  145. Lithigender: a gender that feels more intense or prevalent during manic episodes and less intense or prevalent during depressive episodes but does not change otherwise. This gender is not fluid, only it’s intensity or prevalence changes. A term reserved for those with bipolar disorder. The name comes from “lithium” which is often used to treat symptoms of bipolar disorder.
  146. Ludogender: or neurodivergent people who tend to mirror other people because they’re brainweird. when your core gender stays the same but sometimes you “try on” different genders because you are mirroring someone. note: for neurodivergent people only
  147. Magentagender: a gender that doesnt exist because you dont exist! even though you can see it and logically you know that it is there, it still doesnt exist. (for psychotic people/people who experience delusions)
  148. Malagender: A gender that’s influenced or created by Maladaptive Daydreaming. (e.g. a gender that fluctuates with your characters). Also ; a gender for identifying as your para. Neuronarrators can use as well.
  149. Mealla-: A gender that is influenced or effected by one's hypersexuality. Only to be used by people with hypersexuality
  150. Medianfluid: When you’re genderfluid because you’re a median system, OR where every facet in your system is a different gender.
  151. Minehypic: A gender that is connected to Minecraft in a way that cannot be worded. Mine comes from Minecraft, while Hypic comes from Minecraft being a hyperfixation of mine for years.
  152. Mistgender: a gender that feels transparent, and hard to grasp like mist. You know what it is but it’s just barely there, out of your grasp because of trauma, neurodivergency, and/or mental illness. Can be a modifier to any gender! Mistboy, mistgirl, mistxenic, mistnb, etc!
  153. Molebug: an term representing the opposite of gender, identifying with unreality and dissoconnection from humanity, and an attachment to an alien-like sense of self. Can be described as surreal, intense, and dreamlike.
  154. Mollivgender: a gender when you know you have more identities, but for some reason (like depression) you can’t find the motivation to find them, or they make you question who you are. so you stick with certain labels that work slightly instead of finding the right ones.
  155. Monstergender: Someone who has a weak or even no sense of gender with feelings of inhumanity replacing the missing sense of gender identity. Mostly intended for neuroatypicals monstergirl, monsterboy, monster nonbinary etc.
  156. Monstrogendervoid: when you straight up have no gender/are void of gender but the little gender you do feel is inhuman and monstrous.
  157. Mortugender: a gender/gender addition that has strong ties to/relates to death in a deep way, or a gender that is influenced by Cotard’s syndrome. The prefix mortu- is added on to a gender term when said gender becomes stronger in the presence or feeling of death/being dead. Coined with people…with Cotard’s syndrome in mind, but can be used by anyone.

Narkissigender: an egotistical gender, viewing itself in a high position and wanting and/or needing praise. should only be used by those who have narcissistic personality disorder. gender can be replaced with fluid, boy, girl, xirl, boi, nonbinary, enby, nb, etc. derived from the greek word ναρκισσιστική

  182. Paradelusogender: a subset of delusogender in which one’s gender is influenced by paranoid delusions.
  183. Paradnurix: a gender that comes from both Paranoia and ADHD. Parad is a combination of paranoia (para) and ADHD (ad), and nurix is a pre-existing suffix.
  184. Paragender (neurogender): a gender for identifying as your para [Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder-Specific].
  185. Paramegender: a gender that is affected by one’s daydreams and the events that occur in one’s paracosms. more specifically by the way your parame(s)/paraself(paraselves) manifest. to be used by maladaptive daydreamers. paramegender is specifically about your PARAMES and PARASELVES. Your gender feels differently because of how you perceive yourself in your paracosms, and whose eyes you’re looking through. It could be something like being a demiboy and feeling yourmasculine part of your gender because your paraself or parames are more often male or masculine in some way (like my situation), or it could be something like feeling different genders based on which parames you’re daydreaming more about, or even feeling a gender specifically ONLY when you’re having a daydream in the eyes of someone of that gender, or even feeling all of the genders of your parames collectively, or having them run through a cycle. Prismgender: my experience of gender is heavily influenced by my adhd. i impulsively change my gender expression as well as the way i view myself, depending on whatever i’m currently SUDDENLY LIKING A LOT on or just on a whim because i’m bored. when i feel comfortable with something, i always get fed up after a while and need a change. i change pronouns every few months, and once i decide on a label to use for myself, i’ve probably already changed and it doesn’t fit anymore. but at the same time i do not experience this as actually shifting my gender, like i understand for example genderfluidity. i am always the same gender, that means that the frequent changes, the adaptability to my mood and my hyperfixations, the impulsive decisions, and the inability to settle for something ARE my gender.

  239. Trennian: a gender caused by or due to dissociation, depersonalization and/or derealization, that is grey and feels like static. It is unknown and abstract, a paradox of both being yours and not yours at the same time, and feels dreamlike but not quite at the same time…the name is from the german word “trennen”, which means “to separate”.
  240. Trepidary: a term for when your gender is influenced by the fact that you’re a fictional introject who’s source is horror related. the term is based on the word trepidation. this term is only reclaimable for did/osdd systems. do not use if you are not a system member of some kind.
  241. Trubedhypic: a gender based on having Truly Bedrock SMP hyperfixation/special interest. Neurodivergent-exclusive.
  242. Tubercugender: a gender that’s like a burden, or tumor, on you and prevents you from discovering your true self. Exclusive to neurodivergent people…Tuberculum = tumor in Latin
  243. Uisgender: A DID/OSDD-1 based gender characterized by feeling many genders at once, but none of them at the same time, due to blurring between alters. Only to be used by people who have DID/OSDD-1.
  244. Undeadsoft: Aan agender-in-nature xenogender connected to the undead (mostly zombies) due to neurodivergence. normally very comforting to the one using it.

  246. Vaguegender: term to describe when one’s gender is vague because of their status as being neurodivergent. This gender term is to only be used by neurodivergent/neuroatypical individuals.
  247. Virtuvasi: an angelic gender for the angel choir Virtues…this identity goes along with Seravasi and is apart of the “Angel Choir System” an identity group…Do NOT Use If Anti Endogenic Systems
  248. Visigender: a gender that is best described using images, visual aides etc., as you are unable to put it into words due to neurodivergence. For neurodivergent people only.
  249. Xumgender: never being satisfied with your gender due to constant self-doubt or identity issues, causing one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits as perfect as possible–to find “the gender” or “the one truth”–though one will never be found due to one’s neurotype, because words will never be able to describe it, and/or its own properties paradox itself. This frequent anxiety and doubt even causes this gender to feel imperfect to the individual.
  250. Zauygender: a gender which is influenced by the fact that one feels they are not subject to life, do not possess a soul, and/or they do not exist while still being “alive.”
